Teen Volunteer Driver Saves Woman In Diabetic Emergency
19-year-old Meals on Wheels driver, Alekzander Dzivak, turned into a hero the other day when he arrived to a house just as an elderly woman was having a diabetic episode.
Ms. Lana was unable to move but used her doorbell camera to call out for help. She gave him the code so he could get in and call 911. He stayed with her until paramedics arrived. She said, “If he hadn’t come, I would’ve died. It was that far along,” “He came to the door at the right moment. It’s just unbelievable.” Alekzander said,“I was nodding and shaking my head. I was trying to keep her talking to me, keep her calm,” he said. “It was a very scary situation.”
First responders were able to save her life and she is alright now!
