‘Today’ Show Co-Host Fell Asleep On An Amtrak Train And Had To Call Police
Falling asleep in an inopportune time. Many of us have been guilty of that…maybe dozing off in the carpool line. But this is next level and leads us to a Setting the Bar story!
If you can manage to make it through the day without falling asleep on a train only to wake up two hours past your scheduled arrival…then have to be rescued by police…you’re doing ok.
And this happened to a ‘Today’ show co-host Sheinelle Jones! She shared the story on air of falling asleep on a train from Philadelphia to New York, only to wake up alone in the dark at the Moynihan Station at midnight, two hours past her scheduled arrival. She tried unsuccessfully to pry the doors open before she ended up calling 911. Two police officers rescued her after she spent hours trapped underground. She said that by the time she got home, her kids didn’t realize anything was wrong. LOL
