High School Marching Band Performs At Disney World After Being Robbed Of Instruments
The Ashland High School marching band drove 22 hours on a bus to perform at Disney World only to find out their equipment truck was ransacked. Even the feathers on their hats were scattered. So the director immediately started going to music stores asking to rent 15 of the 16 missing instruments. But the night before the performance, they still needed one saxophone, so a parent reached out to another Ohio high school on Facebook who happened to be in town and found one to use!
And after their 22 hour bus ride back, they got back in town with a police escort and a cheering group from their community to welcome them back!
